I wish I could give 。5 stars， because this was really a 2。5 star read。 I don't have much to say other than I was underwhelmed， and I'm disappointed in the months I spent anticipating this release。。。 I understand that the first one was not FANTASTIC， but that's not to say I didn't enjoy it， in fact， I really really enjoyed reading it。 It was the perfect guilty pleasure read， packed with all the tropes I want and need from a gushy romance novel。 I can't help but compare this book to its predecesso I wish I could give 。5 stars， because this was really a 2。5 star read。 I don't have much to say other than I was underwhelmed， and I'm disappointed in the months I spent anticipating this release。。。 I understand that the first one was not FANTASTIC， but that's not to say I didn't enjoy it， in fact， I really really enjoyed reading it。 It was the perfect guilty pleasure read， packed with all the tropes I want and need from a gushy romance novel。 I can't help but compare this book to its predecessor， the characters weren't nearly as interesting， I did not like the chapters from Lucas' point of view， and honestly， "insta-love，" is one of my least favourite tropes。 I did finish this book， it was "enjoyable，" but not worth the hype and I wouldn't read it again。 。。。more

Ahh！ Beautiful！ Adored it！ These books are setting my standards so high。。。 not just for a boyfriend， but also to myself。 Lucas and Rosie captured my heart， squeezed it and made it swell in happiness。 I had been waiting for this book since it had been announced and it was definitely worth it。I loved seeing Aaron and Lina too！ And of course， the sweet little Taco！Eagerly waiting for more books from Elena Armas！ 💖💖💖

I love a good slow burn！ I got this as an ARC from Netgalley and it did disappoint。 It was a perfect end of summer book。 I enjoyed how the relationship between Rosie and Lucas developed， and loved the friendship between Rosie and Lina。 And who doesn’t love a cute dog named Taco？！ Definitely recommending this one！
